That is a 96 continenal, runs like a freaking top, but the seal in the bellhousing behind the torque converter has popped out and it leaks fluid pretty badly. And I already done enough working on cars this summer too want to fix that, would rather just sell it. It's high mileage, but an old guy owned it before me, owned it till he died, then a dealer bought it and sold it to some chick then I bought it not long later.

Sits next to my 91 SHO with a diff pin thats coming out (sadly runs and drives yet), and next to my new free 89 Le Sabre T-Type, so many cars too fix so little time, granted I'm probably going to fix the t-type for my winter beater.

sorry to off topic but is that a continental in your yard?

Don't worry about it, don't think their has ever been a thread in this section that hasn't gone off topic if their was more that a couple posts in it. I think on average they are usually off by post 5 or so.

Running the same, I been using it as my DD even with the TPS issue. Going to be parking it for winter here soon, trying to fix another car to drive right now. I found another wiring harness for $100, but I'd rather put that money into the winter DD and get it set, park my car, and finish it up next spring and maybe get it running on E85 and find some DR's for it and head to Brainerd in search of high 11's.

Right now it is very sluggish, it shifts at awkward times because the TPS isn't telling the PCM the right throttle percentages. From a dead stop to 60mph it runs great if I just hammer on it, it will burn out to 55mph, then fall on it's face after 60. But thats bad signs for traction, the things running like crap, is an auto, and still rips the tires apart to 55mph...

Was a big show down with the fiancee on that one. I kinda conned her into buying it last year saying that it would work as a family car, but I did a ton of work on it now and said I don't want it to rot out, think I finally won the battle, took a lot though.
