You read the actual ECU, not that slot on the twEECer. Is X2J selected at the bottom when you read the ECU (not the twEECer slot)?

Is this the laptop you've been using all along? I recently tried a different laptop to write my tweecer and had some weird issues (I used to use my work computer until I switched jobs), then used my wife's newer laptop and everything worked fine. It would work fine with the tweecer removed, but as soon as I would hook it up, no matter what strategy I wrote, it would not work, the fuel pump would cycle on and off and it would not start (and the values were all way off, like yours).

Wasn't there a bug in the tweecer software that didn't allow you to read the EEC itself. BTW why do you need to read the EEC anyways?

I wanted to read the EEC because I wanted to see if the tune was loaded and being used by the EEC.

Also with the tweecer pluged up to the x2j no matter what tune I use the fans always stay on....

When you load up a tune it doesn't right to the EEC memory, the tune is on the twEECer. If you want to see if the tune is on the twEECer you should click the read twEECer button.

Exactly, if the TwEECer has a random strategy (I think A9L mustang is the default), It's going to make the fuel pump prime. Kind of like it does when your running for codes. You also have to remember that just because you load one position on the twEECer with a X2J strategy...the other 2-3 or may still have something else on them.

You can't read the ECU and no spots are working. If the laptop software is good, try another X2J.

if you want to check and see if you wrote the file correctly, you need to press the "read tweecer" button, not the read Ecc. the "read Eec" button is to read the stock info off the conputer it's self. you cannot change those values as the tweecer puts its self inline with that, doesn't replace it.
