So I have a thread or 2, one in what did you do to your sho. Garbage, just garbage.... don't buy. EBay seller.

"Are you able to use the stock motor and electronics on the new throttle body...I feel like that's probably where the issue is...Tuning for throttle body size is one thing but the motor and electronics is something else that I'm not sure I can tune for. You have slopes and ratios for the motor movements that I'm not even sure we could get the proper data that needs plugged into the tune

I have an upgraded throttle body on my mustang that I got from VMP. They only use native OEM throttle motor. That stuff can make it near impossible to tune properly. The size of the throttle requires tuning to correct the airflow model. The ECU uses calculations to convert throttle opening and the area of throttle opening to a desired air load

Would be interesting to see if the issue is gone with the stock TB which I expect would be the case."

The s197 v6 bbk tb is a direct fit on these cars and is plug and play. No real performance gain but it has a better location to pull a boost reference which is what I use

Thanks, yeah I heard about that TB. Maybe I will see. Wasted my cash on this crapola.

Before I put mine on I went ahead and had a boost reference port installed. Get a good machine shop as they are prone to cracking if you just hambone the piece in there. The v6 tb is flipped over so the port is on what would be the “bottom” of the tb in normal orientation.
