Gen3 seats in a Gen2?

I read somewhere and maybe on here but I can't find it but siad they would fit. Said front ones would go easy and the rears with a little modding.
I can't find the thread or just not looking correctly. Does anyone know of this? Done it? If so got pics or some details on doing it?

The reason is, I can get the seats from a 96 for nothing.
The car is a SLO so the seats are cloth. It doesn't bother me to just have cloth seats since I work in a garage and have to hop in my car in the evening with grease all over me. Also my interior is moca and the 96 seats are gray.
I don't know for sure that I wanna do it, I might just swap the front ones so I can clean and repair the fronts.

I had a friend with GEN III SHO seats in a GEN I, if that helps.

Helps but What I am wandering about is the outside peice around the fold down seats, how it would attach. I want GEN3 SHO seats but it will be a hunt.....
