FWIW, I'm eventually hoping to do a V8 MTX Gen IV, or maybe Gen II. It's going to come down to which car is available when, and which one is in the budget (sub $1000 is my plan). Obviously a running driving car in good shape like that one will be too much, but one with a blown up engine and/or tranny but with a good shell will be the best deal. If I can find a dark blue Gen IV that would be poifect.

Gen3 subframe for a Gen2 ATX?
Gen 1/2 guys and gals use gen 3 subframes frequently because it's stiffer.
