Now, THAT's the SECOND Gen IV SHO.
It's so sad that you have to spend so much of your day reminding people of how great you are and that you're the "Original" this and the "Original" that. I'm sorry that you don't get the admiration and worship you need at home and have to turn to the internet to try to drum it up.

Unless you can prove that the Gen 4 car you built was running and driving before Sunday February 11, then I'm afraid you'll need to withdraw your claim that Kirk's Gen 4 SHO isn't the FIRST. Of course you won't and will just obfuscate and continue your sleazy self aggrandizement.

I've tried to stay out of your childish little personal grudge with Kirk for 3 years now, but your incessant pomposity has really become tiring. I've tried to remain polite and neutral, but I'm not sure it's been worth it.

Kirk and his Gen 4 SHO will actually SHOw up at this year's convention in Kalamazoo. Will you? Maybe you and he can finally hammer out your differences and you can put your campaign of one-upmanship to rest.

but back to the topic at hand, I really don't give a flying $%@$ who is or was first, both shops apparently did it, nice job, look great sound mean and are maybe the ultimate sleeper??

I can't understand why one is more of a gIV SHO than the other.

No problem! I was merely considering the incorporation of the SHO-specific sub-systems and attention to the subtle yet equally important striking visual details. Essentially, what sets any/every SHO apart from the standard configuration Taurus.

Nice work everyone, too bad Dougs' car won't be at Carlisle by the sounds of it. Hope the owner does bring it to Michigan though.

Na not a personal ******* match at all, just trying to get a correct statement out of him thats all.

Heres how it started, I have been talking about my project quite a bit recently and early Feb Doug showed a pic of his on a lift. Not saying he did it, not running not even in the engine cradle completely with the normal statement from Doug “UMMMMMM like this one”and gave a link to the pic. I knew the car was there and what was slated to happen to it as I gave the name of the Owner on the V8 list, I then proceeded to drag him out of his hole already knowing it was there and what was supposedly happening to it by saying that Doug never said he was doing it, He never said it was his shop and that a few of the V8 guys said it was a photo CHOP, it took a few days for him to respond telling me HOW great he was and that I was the Mother Theresa of cam welds (a BS battle but I was having fun) the next day I released a video of my motor running in my shop in the car (I took the Vid with a camera and it made a HUGE file and I got my *** *** slapped for it) so I could not continue with videos. & 7 days later Doug released his videos and states that his was the first! When he and the rest of the world except for here, (SHOFORUM) because he got here first knows that he was not the first to do the transplant.
I did what I did on V8SHO.com for the only reason of Jim wanted his car done, and what better way to get it back to see another one being done ahead of another, its why the emails and videos were done very strategically to hurry up and get his car done, he did not want to turn it into a Kaoticsho event where his car was there for several years as it was a "project" car and was mis-announced as the first ATX supercharged V6 SHO, when Ben Bentley had his done in 1999.

“Hearsay” that I have is that Doug dropped all things to hurry up and get it completed after I released a video of ours running. Personally both projects are cool! I made mine a bit different then HE as I installed everything that a SHO would have Not just a motor. Both projects I’m sure were fun and it only gives more options to the community if you want something like this.

Unlike Doug’s, Mine will make the rounds this year to the Convention and lots of other Ford shows and the normal SHO stuff that we do throughout the year. Were just looking for the truth to be told, and its not even that big of deal. But it would really be nice for the lies to stop in this industry, there are so few of us doing this and it’s a shame that we all cant get along doing it and have fun with it.

oh I like the competition. Keeps us pushing. I'd never build my SHO the way it is except for my pride hurting from loosing to Toolman.

Keep up the bickering!! We are getting some cooler cars out of it!!!

Eh, it's a V8. What can I say?

Cool stuff dudes. Throw some boost at it and things will get REAL cool.

No get a Mustang and leave your butt behind.

Personally I would not go to any pressurized intake until I extract every bit of HP out of the engine NA.

You could do that, if you wanted to waste a lot of money. To get an extra 50hp out of a SHO NA, you would spend more than getting an extra 200hp out of a boosted SHO. And what works for a NA build can work against you in a boosted build. It is counterproductive.

N2O is an addiction and cannot be considered a permanet engine mod IMHO. I don't want to be tied to my local speed shop for power when I need it.
