GEN III's on CL

i know that you guys check out CL pretty often but i really don't know how far from the STL area you guys look. so i just figured i would toss this up here. it's a '98 with 84k and a blown motor for 500 obo. it's in the CL for southeast MO,

Saw that. Might be worth it if you can move it and have the money to do a swap. Really you could part it for that.

Seems like it would be worth 500 just for the brakes, subframe, and steering rack alone would it not?

I could always deliver down or pull up. Minus having a truck or trailer... Im more than willing to drive it. Every trip to Cape is worth it to me....

it's not in cape otherwise i would check it out. i did a search on the number and it came up as being near osage beach.

i called the guy this morning and it's only about 20 minutes from me, i'm going to try and go check it out some time this week and i'll post what i find for you guys. he says i'm the only one who has called about it and it has to go fast because of city ords and all, so he might come down, but i can't say for sure until i talk to him in person. it really makes me wonder though, because i've seen one just like it here in town a few times and i just wonder if it's the same car. i asked what was wrong with the engine and he said he thought it had been ran low on oil. i asked him about the cams and he had no idea what i was talking about. i need you guys to tell me what to pay attention to on it so i know what to look for.
