Gen III and Al SFB's

I'd read in an old post about someone using the combination of Gen III and Al SFB's to ease up on up the NVH, but couldn't find it on my searches; just wondering if the Aluminum ones go in the front or back ?
I have a set of AL SFB's; if someone out there wants to buy a set of Gen III's and swap 2 for 2 ALuminum ones, we can both upgrade !

IIRC people have installed the solid ones in front and the Gen 3s in the rear.
