Pretty sure it was to help from fluid starvation on launches. I overfill my trans also
I'm noticing on the upgraded turbos that in sport mode it feels like there are multiple little hesitations under wot that aren't present in drive mode. I've overfilled it by half a pint to be conservative and thinking maybe add another half. I'm concerned that overfilling it at all might be damaging.

Send logs to your tuner have them see that hesitation.
I did noticed same thing Matt explained to me that this is torque management that controls power to the wheels and not letting engine rip trany a part, logs and revisions should smooth that out but you have to work with your tuner to make it better

I over filled my trans by a pint when I got it at 7800 miles... I also did it on my 2010...

So far I haven’t had an issue with the trans in either..... except for tuning issues on the 2010 with Torrie...

Just make sure you have Motorcraft LV in it.

There are tuners who will do this...

But if you are talking about advance track then that is different.

Going to Dyno day Saturday. Wouldn't be surprised if it puts down 550awhp. Hard telling until I'm actually on the dyno. Not worried about the motor at all. Worried about the trans as she been funky a couple times but just gonna send it boys
536awhp/647torque e30 AJPTurbo. Just remember this post. 20psi turbos at 65-70% wgdc. Timing is actually pulled back to curb torque but oops.

Getting Brad is a work on it's own. I have all the pieces of the puzzle but turbos. He is a wealth of knowledge and is overlooked but I think he's glad to be at some point. Think he has found the highest performance guy's are his wheel house. When you get the same old stuff you look for the challenge and his knowledge of past is what you want
