Ow i think i messed up, i just bought a new valve body with solonids and pump, complete assembly for axode, but i was downstairs looking at my old one from the sho tranny and it says SHO on the valve body casting, i'm wondering if this one is going to work?? here is the part #F1DZ-7A100-F, i got it for a good price either way, i just don't want to have a fancy paperwieght. i wish i would have payed more attention in school. HELP:nut:

i take it everyone is as clueless as me? i've been thinking and i think the only difference might be the lock up solinoid.

Well now that your answer has been gotten...

What purpose does the maze of channels in the valve body serve?

V6 SHO valve bodies are unique.

thats a drag, i'm wondering what would happen if i used this other valve body? damn what a mess, well at least i didn't pay much for it, it is brand new with pump and solinoids, so at least i'll have a new pump and shift solinoides, wonder if this new valve body has a mlus or just a lus, o'well gonna be interesting regardless.:nut:

Sell it to someone with an old SLO and get the correct one...

You have an AX4S transmission, not an AXODE regardless of what the pan says. You need to get the correct part.
