g1 power antenna switch pinout

ok i know, i did a search, but the russian site with the wiring diagrams isn't loading for me. all i need to know is what the pins on the back of the g1 switch are, they look like this :

basically i want to know where to hook up the 12v power for my g2 antenna, so when the up button is pressed, power is switched on, and when down button is pressed, power is switched off. thanks

You may not be able to do it that easily. The Gen 1 switch is a momentary switch in either direction. It sounds like you want it to turn into a rocker style switch though. Unless there is more to the switch inside it then just the momentary contacts, you'll have to use a bunch of external relays. The relays would be configured to be "latching".

If you do get this to work though without all the relays, I'd be very interested in the information.

Wouldn't you just be able to put any old on/off switch in the antenna wire that will cut off power between the radio and antenna when in the off position, which will put the antenna down? I assume that is what you are trying to do...

I was thinking about this the other day... You might be able to wire up the switch, but you'd have to hold the up button down until the antenna was all the way up, the same when you want it moved down.

I think you can do that with the stock switch, since it is a momentary switch to begin with.
