Any updates???? Im currently having the exact same problem with a 91 mtx as well. The fuel pump will not prime, however if i manually jump it to prime, when it does start the car keeps the fuel pump running on its own. So i know everything works, it just wont prime.... Please Help

you could do the pinout of the OBD port near the PCM and listen for the fuel pump... if nothing then you probley have a bad pump.

for the other guy
as for the pump not priming itself but works after the car is running you need to replace the PCM. the computer hits the low side of the pump for i think its 5 secs then waits for a trigger coming from the crank sensor and as long as the crank sensor is reading crank movement it runs the pump.
