fuel injection question

I have a '93 ATX. My check engine light comes on after about 10 minutes of driving. Also sometimes, it takes 2 to 3 times for my car to start. My cousin suggested that it could be that it needs a fuel injection service. He told me that some signs of this is loss power and fuel economy. Is he right? Also I welcome any other suggestions.

It may very well be an oxygen sensor, but don't waste your time and money fixing something that isn't broken. The EEC is trying to tell you what is wrong. Check the codes.
