Drivers side is leaking. Wet. Can hear it sucking in air when i jack that side up. Have some KYBS on the way to replace them for now and maybe forever. Anyone know of a reputable place that will rebuild these at a reasonable price? Anyone interested in just taking these off of my hands? I like the stance, but I think they may be overkill for the way I use the car. Im not pushing its limits on the street around corners... i may be pushing its limits going in a fairly straight line though.

Edit: "May be" may imply, but does not guarantee that id do anything against the law. I drive no more and no less than the speed limit allows at all times, mr officer.

Google Truechoice and Proparts USA.
They are authorized Koni rebuilders. Not cheap at roughly $300 each to rebuild.

Joe Ford,
What is the part number of the Koni insert that you are using? I may be interested in purchasing your inserts.

I dont have them off of the car yet, but i think its safe to assume they are the only koni inserts that fit the front of our cars. There's only 1 part number that fit i do believe.

Hah! Driving "no less" than the speed limit allows, you can still get popped for driving too fast for conditions. "I had to swerve between those two cars to keep going 65 MPH, officer! I couldn't allow their slow @$$3S to prevent me from going my allowed speed!" You might want to re-write that quote....

Yup you can get stance without the Konis and you may be right about the overkill. I hope they find a good home. The Eibach springs, or even the Intrax, gave a nice drop to the front end. Hmm, wonder if I still have those in the garage....

I mean what I say and I say what I mean. Im sticking by my original statement. After all, bulls push anything in their path right out of it...

On a serious note, i have a couple sets of eibach springs. Will throwing them on some KYB struts be ok to do? I have heard of doing such things could dramatically shorten the lifespan of the strut. The guy who told me that has questionable credibility. Figured I'd trust you guys more than Bill Hilly the hillbilly.

Here is a post below discussing different struts. See BaySHO Performance's comment on the second page regarding KYB's verses Monroe's. I read/heard the same as well, KYB's don't hold up as well. I have been running Eibachs/Monroes on my 92 for a few years now. They still feel good, no issues. They were quickstruts and I just swapped out the springs. Nice to have all the other parts new. Amazon sometimes have them for sale, if I recall, I got some quickstruts for less than $50 each. They were the old Monroe part numbers, 171781 and 171780. Maybe that is why they were getting rid of them.
