This morning on my way to work I had the horrible experience of running over a domesticated animal. Needless to say, a 40 lbs four legger vs a 4600 lbs SHO traveling at 60 mph, well, the animal lost.

That being what it is, my bumper is now cracked and I have started looking for a replacement. I've looked at local junkyards but does anyone know of a good website to purchase nice quality body parts from?

Unfortunately you're limited to junkyards, eBay and car-part.com

oem may still be in stock. Look at Tasca and you can shop the oem part number around like on ebay.

Not sure what your budget is but it might be worth checking with you body shop. Mine cost me $600 for part and paint, and I installed it myself.

Manufacturers are required to keep parts in stock/available for 10 years following the ending of any model production run.

That said, new OEM will be the most expensive option.

Check aftermarket suppliers as the quality is reasonable to OEM.

You can R&R it yourself. It's a fairly easy task.

This too. You can get some urethane rod on Amazon pretty cheap (looks similar to the PLA spools for 3D printing) and then you can use a soldering iron or a plastic welder to repair it, then sand and have your local body shop respray it.

I just had all of this fixed, not replaced. It’s doable. I paid $850 where most of the work was the chin spoiler repair. My grille had a crack in it also. 51A54040 27D8 42B6 BDFF 8F2EF9479D63965573FF 156C 4BC6 8B63 83FA17B2155FA411C335 6591 4841 A21B 75ADAA6CE7DE

Now I just need to reattach when I’m ready and it’s gooderdanabastard! Back to her old hood rat style 159BA320 9619 4DF7 B998 65571744AF2D

I had a fender bender last month and getting a bumper cover was a PITA. The part is listed on backorder no date from the dealer network.

What all do I need to fill the license plate holes in the front bumper cover? I want to remove the plate bracket since a front plate is not required in my state.

I remember a fellow SHO owner some time ago, desired to do the same thing but when I searched for the post, I couldn't find it.

No biggie. Nothing a quick Google search couldn't dig up. That said, try these out.....
