How can you over fill the trans?
if you use heater hose and a funnel you can get a good seal on the fill plug. and with the funnel above the motor gravity pushes more fluid in it. if you then pull it while the fluid level is still above the fill plug and get the plug on while fluid is still draining out you could 'overfill' the trans. or as stated, the reverse sensor.

Or have the front of the car jacked way up in the air and fill to the level hole.

Why wouldnt Doug take out the fill plug and put in a new one? He doesn't know how to get stripped fill plugs out either?!?
Lousy establishment to take a car to in my opinion. Any real shop would have spent an hour fixing it and charged you for it.
Add another **** up to the FPS resume.

I actually found out it was leaking after he sealed the case up. I called him, told him it was leaking and his attitute about it was like "what do you want me to do about it?" He would not reseal the case. but whatever. Last time I ever use them for anything. But **** I dont need them anymore.

3 quarts is all it holds. It can't have been completely empty...unless the diff blew up.

I was talking slow seepage. not draining itself every 12k miles.
I sealed my case halves when I installed my welded diff, along with new axle, input shaft, and shifter shaft seals a couple of years ago.

Guess what my transmission doesn't leak or let seep?

On the way back from the drag strip the transmssion siezed up!! :snicker:

Lack of lubrication made the thing sieze up in 4th and 5th gear. You cant get it in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. When FPS installed my welded diff they didnt seal up the two case halves to well so it slowely leaked and leaked and now this.
Time for a quaife.

= I just took a whole bunch of good discontinued parts and ruined them on purpose! But, it isn't my fault because somebody else worked on my car 3 years ago.
