fordbastards 1st annual convention

Looks like the weekend of June the 12th is looking like the weekend. I'm thinking Friday MSR, Saturday a fun run, Sunday Texas Motorplex. The TCCoA and SCCoA are startin to get juiced on the idea and the dates. Nothing is set in stone yet I have to get a hold of Jack out at MSR and the the folks at the Motorplex, but according to both their calenders they have nothing scheduled for that weekend.

Car Show for the convention.


I was thinking we need to have a car show during the convention. Since we are a bunch of fordbastards though I think we need to do it a little different.

I'm calling the show the "daily beater". Instead of the cleanest most pristine, the best paint, restored, or a totally detailed car, we judge the most daily used, just washed (that morning of the show) most worn, most milage but track ready cars could win the show. I think it could build into a big thing over time.

Murphy you guys should have gone to Australia instead of where your going the ladies could still have some great beaches and you and Tony could have checked out the cars down there.
