I have heard that once people flush their tranny just to freshen it up, the results are BAD..well why would this be? I am getting a 93 ATX recent rebuild 30k ago, but I want to flush it, and go with some high quality fluid, but I dont want it to go bad...can I still flush it?

If the tranny craps out after a flush then it was ready to go anyways. I ususally reccommend that if your tranny has 80k+ miles on the same fluid then dont flush it. But since yours has only 30k then it's ready for a flush. It wont hurt a thing unless there's already something wrong with it.

Just did the wifes' at 78K miles, and so far so good. Of course I have no idea if it was ever done before? When are you going to post a pic?
