So, the climate control display has been very dim. So took it apart, replaced the bulb and now I can actually read the display again! not as bad as I thought it would be. before you would only be able to see it at certain angles and certain light.

I had issues with my 89's when I first bought it. I replaced the bulb and it still didn't work, so I lucked up and found a NOS unit on Ebay for about 30 bucks; replaced the whole thing and it works great.

You may need to clean the contacts for the bulbs. I had an '88 Mercury Sable long long ago with the same issue.

I figured it could be fixed, so I kept the old one just in case. I usually don't throw alot of SHO parts away. When I ran across a NOS one for $30 on Ebay, it was a no brainer to me though.
