Thanks! Im not sure what size they are and i havent gotten around to measuring them. I will tell you that i am 6' 7" tall and the back rest is high enough where i can lean back and have my head supported by the head rest.

Wow, I thought that I was tall at 6'5"!
me

I also have the width to back up the height though. At 275 lbs I think I'll need to go with the wide versions of whatever seats I get. Do you feel snug in your seats or just right?

They are comfortable for me ... not snug ... they do the job when taking hard turns. :)

:dribble: Ok, I was expecting a pic of a gen 4 SLO or something...Is the Murcielago common in IL junkyards or something? Where was that pic taken?

That's nice....So will I fit inside one at 6'5"?

SHOWYA your car is definately the nicest SHO that will probably ever be seen. I love the combination you chose.

What do you mean extend the seat rails? You going to weld on a longer section or just move the seat rails back farther? I'm 6'7" so I feel your pain and if you fit in the Lambo, I have something new to dream about. Thanks. Who's lambo and did you get to really drive it???

Ian... 275lbs, dang I wouldn't want to **** you off. :omg: I'm only 220lbs and according to the Body Mass Index ideal is 190lbs. I think the BMI is full of crap, but that's what it says.

Thanks! Once the car started getting painted i did not realize that the interior was mocha. Thats when i started thinking about matching the interior to the exterior.

Yes i will weld on an extenstion to the bracket and move the sliders back. I will try to make a write up on it.

Yes i did drive it ... just even hearing it turn on is exciting. The engine is a work of art. Driving it, i did not even have the radio on, why would you need one? It already has a 12 cylinder sound system in the back!!
I do fit on a lambo a little uncomfortable but not to bad. I can feel my hair touching the headliner. The vehicle i like and fitted best is a Ferrari Modena 360.

The lambo is "mine"!!! I drove "my" yellow one last year and i was able to read on the speedometer 180mph! shh... dont tell no body.

Not a junkyard. At work. We Fix lots of cars from exotics all the way to an everyday commuter.

The website has no real info on the seats. I will have to measure; here is the link for the seats ... http://www.momousa.com/products.php?subcat=24&group=46

Here's a link for seat dimensions and weight. Though, the Speed 1/2 seats are missing.

http://lib1.store.vip.sc5.yahoo.com/lib/shopmomo/seats.pdf

And here's another link for Momo seats with a lowest-price guarantee:

http://www.shopmomo.com/streetseats.html

The RS GT seems like a good buy at $336 and very lightweight at 16lbs too.

It's a fixed seat though. But I don't think that's a big deal since you're gonna have modify the bracket connection anyways to get the angle of the bottom seat section right for comfortable leg support. This is something all tall guys would have to do with any of these seats whether they are adjustable or fixed.

LOL

I just saw this post today. Yeah, if I were 190 lbs, I'd be pretty thin. I could stand to lose some weight but I'm not obese by any stretch of the imagination. If I were 250 I'd be pretty happy. I met you briefly at a really old LSHOC/MASHOC combined meet years and years ago; I didn't remember that you were that tall! 6'7" is so limiting in this world! To bring this back on topic, it makes me nervous to look for good aftermarket seats; I don't know how comfortable they'd be for longer trips and how well I'd fit into them. Two of my friends are planning on getting regular sized Corbeaus which means I'll never be able to sit up front in their cars again. It's somewhat frustrating.

Will, are you running stock seats? Fred Hurder has a rim page with weights and offsets somewhere; I wonder if there's a good seat page out there somewhere.

Thanks B! ... and to all for the support. It has been a long time and it feels good to see the car come through. Still have to do minor stuff to the cosmetics. Need some gauges to fill in the gauge pod and start reassembling the engine since its completly apart because of my recent rod bearing failure.

Fortunatly i was able to get ahold of a 3.2 block (Thanks SHODOGG!) i have all that i need to put it back together but i want to send the crank to get balanced and the block hot tanked.

I will post the results once i have her up and running. Maybe after the new year.
Till then...
