I'm not sure at this point because it's looking like I'll probably have to work this Saturday morning, but might be able to make it up there in the afternoon.

Wunderground's Saturday Forecast:

Partly cloudy with a chance of snow and rain showers in the morning, then overcast with a chance of rain. High of 54F. Winds from the South at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation 50%

Eww. Not looking good.

I will def be working on Saturday morning as well. Will be getting out between noon-1pm.

No SHO but I am looking at October 13th for a trip to Lapeer. I have been trying to go to Milan but keep running into bad weather.

It will be fun to see some SHOs out there testing.. I am trying to get to 15 flat myself. Hopefully my new Panther transmission, 2800 stall torque converter, cold weather and new tires will make it happen. :)

At this point, lookin' like a no-go for us.

Not seeing any interest, and buddy Marty can't make it, as he and the wife are leaving on Saturday for vacation (earlier than originally planned).

I didn't see any SHOs coming, even in the early planning. I was gonna bring the SVT, and the rest would have been a coupla Mustangs, a Camaro, and maybe an SRT-4.

Thats fine. If the weather is good I am making the trek. I can't bear to go through the winter wondering where I am at.

A couple of us may still do it. I only live about 25 miles from there. With the new clutch, I would like to see my pure stock SVT get to the 15.20s or so. We'll see.......

Just saw the 11PM weather. Saturday's advance radar shows rain that looks the fall about all day!

Tomorrow is my bachelor party or I might have been up for making a few runs. All in the interest of beating James in his ThunderChicken. Springtime I am up for it. It's been about 10 years since I went to my first Lapeer meet.

At least two of us are going tomorrow. I'm running the SVT, now with a new clutch, so I'm hoping for 15.2Xs (!!). Buddy Marty is bringing the '97 Z28 SS with his suspension fixes. Possibly buddy Vince with the Mach 1, which runs about the same as the '97 SS.
