exhaust rattle

since I got my car it has occasionaly rattled from time to time I finally found where it is coming from and I have some ideas on how to fix it but I need a second opinion.
its obviously a clearence issue and i believe the hangers shifted or the rubber bushings are worn out but I'm thinking maybe putting some absestos rope (from fireplaces) or exhaust heat wrap around the pipe to quiet it down
any thoughts

Exhaust wrap sounds like a pretty good idea to me. Or maybe a couple tack welds.
