Exhaust Cracked After ******.

Is is normal for the exhaust to crack off behind a ******? Well, minde did. I was wondering if the has ever happened to anyone else. Can I just weld it back together?

Mine did the same thing on my 92'. I'm just going to bring it to my local Exhaust shop tomorrow and see what they can do for me.
