well this problem im having only happens when i have the heat on, the engine sort of seems like it has hickups....it will go fine and then every 3-5 seconds a burst of air will be pushed into the engine from the intake....sometimes it will be fine and others it will do this, doesnt bother me just gets annoying when u get the hickup and it sort of pushes RPM's up a tiny bit and causes me to accelerate a bit. is there something i can reset or something? i just really dont know what i can do. im sure this may have something to do with my pro-m 75mm MAF, but why would this only happen when the heat is on? please fill me in with ANY thing i can do, no i dont have a LPM or tweecer or any tuning device for this MAF so thats also prolly part of it....thx in advance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :thumb:

The AC compressor cycles with the heat on anything but Vent and Floor.
What you are encountering is a surge when the AC compressor turns on or off. Try driving around with the heat either off, on vent, or on the floor setting and check if it is still happening.

To the best of my knowlege it is normal, and/or unavoidable, my 94k 95 has always done it since I got it a little over a year ago. So I would say there is nothing to "fix" IMO. Sorry.

EDIT: After I posted this I remembered reading that some people unplug a wire connector somewhere in the AC system to "disable" the compressor in the winter. Use the Search and you should be able to dig up something about this. I also remember is was some people's opinion that doing so could be bad for the AC system as it doesnt get used for extended periods of time, but I dont know this to be true or not. Its not really a fix, but rather a workaround, just thought I would let you know about it.

EDIT: EDIT: Or you can try driving around at WOT all the time, the compressor wont cycle at WOT. So I read.

It kicks out above 5,000 RPM, not Full throttle.
