I bought my 1990 SHO mtx in June/July of this year. I needed to replace my clutch. My garage buddies convinced ne to drop the motor. I need help routing the main engine harness. I believe I have the passenger side correct. The main branch runs along the firewall. I have to locate the bracket in pic 1. I believe it goes on the stud below the intake manifold bracket stub. Does in run in front of or behind the hoses for the heater core? It clearly bends towards the front of the car. Does it attach to the engine or the fire wall? Does it run between the engine damper and engine or along the fender towards the front of the car? What section of the manual do I find this information. How do I route the battery harness to the starter? Is this lower speed cable roached? Did it leave a piece in the transaxle?

I may need more help after I locate these cables correctly. I will be taking plenty of pics to document this so my errors will help someone else down the road.

Thanks in advance,

Carlos

The rear harness runs along the back side of the engine, under the heater core hoses/pipes, and across the top of the transmission.

The speedometer cable adapter points down like this into the Speed Sensor on the transmission. The orange section goes down into the Speed Sensor and the Blue section is what connects to the speedometer cable coming thru the firewall.

@Irish Pride Thanks for the help. This has removed a lot of frustration and enabled me to make a lot of progress. I've made the turn around the rear of the engine and correctly matched up most of the cables on the driver side. If I need confirmation of cable locations, I'll post more pics on this thread.
