Electric oiler for turbo's

My understanding of the turbo's is when you shut the motor off, the oil stops pumping to the turbo's even though they may still be spinning. I've been told to wait a bit before turning the motor off to allow for them to slow down. Has anyone ever heard of an electric oil pump that kicks in when the motor is shut off to keep oil pumping to them for a bit?

You mean to post in gen 1 section? You say "turbos" meaning more than 1.
I can respond to a gen 4 if thats what you mean. Or in general turbo cool down.
Ill try to dumb this down the best i can.

They run on oil and coolant. Then the engine is off the coolant pump and oil pump both stop. But because of thermodynamics the coolant thermosiphons through the turbos and engine until the turbos and engine are cooled down. So turbos with coolant lines dont need to stay running for a minute to cool down either before shutting down.

Its also common practice not to rev a turbo engine before shutting it off as the lack of oil pressure and turbo slowing down could cause not needed wear but this has not really been proven with any turbos and like i say "common practice"
