Alright I posted about this, but fear that the thread was too confusing..(was for me)...I have pics that show a pair of HARD Plastic Vacumm lines that lead from the Intake Manfold & EGR Valve, to a place near the Airbox. Is there a EGR Vacuum Solenoid thats suppose to be somewhere here? Can anyone tell me where it goes? ALSO, Pics of the object would be nice. If I cant find this at a parts store, would one from the local yard work?

Also, I have a picture of an electrical plug thats also near the airbox, but someone told me that it doesnt go anywhere..just making sure.

If your car has EGR, it has to have an EVR solenoid. It will mount on the firewall near the DPFE/PFE sensor on the ATX cars. The two vacuum lines will connect directly to the EVR solenoid after removing the plugs. It will also require a two wire plug. If this is on your '90, you will need to determine from the owner of another CA emissions vehicle if it mounts elsewhere (looks like it does).

You can special order it through AutoZone, the parts dept of your dealer, or pick one up at a junkyard. One from any Taurus will probably do as long as the mounts are compatible.

Of course, then you will probably find out why a PO disabled the EGR system, it probably didn't work anyway.

It was disabled, due to that fact that he had a 49 state ECU which was running with a LPM chip(no sold)...he took off the Soleniod since it was defective when it came around to smogging the car...or so the story goes...Ill more than likely just pick it up from a store...anyone know where it should mount up? There a a few holes near my stater relay on the fender well...but not sure if theres enough room...hmmm...
