They are brighter because of the flash , but here it is.

I got mine on Friday, and I had to actually trim the innermost mounting post (by the reverse light) about 1/4" and reinsert the screw, as it was 1/4" longer than stock and causing fitment issues in my case.

Once that was settled:
1. These things are BRIGHT! Definitely going to be smoked soon. :)
2. Grote flasher required.
3. Your Lamp Out warning will come on during braking and turn signal operation.

Pop the dimmer/auto lamp assembly out of the dash. It might be easier to remove the kick panel from under the steering column to get to it from behind. The OEM flasher looks exactly like the Grote flasher except that it's black. Use a flashlight and look around. It will be back there. It's not round.

Those lights look sweet. I was wondering if there is a way to make the whole light assembly blink when the turn signal is on. I know it’s been done before on stock lights.

This can be done easily.

All you have t do is cut the red with green stripe wire connecting to the brake only light that is more toward the middle of the car and splice the end coming from the light to the green with red stripe wire connecting the turn signal portion of the lamp, the entire light will blink when the turn signal is applied. Make sure you cap the exposed cut wire with heat shrink or something so it won't short anything out.

I am somewhat confused. Is the red with green stripe wire the same as the green with red stripe wire you mentioned? This is what I got. I cut the red with green stripe wire from the brake only light and splice the green with red stripe wire coming from the turn signal portion. Do I cut that wire too? Then cap the other part of the green and red stripe wire with heat shrink?

Sorry my post was really wordy.
Ignore the solid red, white, and black wires coming from the taillight housing for what you're trying to do.

You see the red wire with the thin green stripe on the bottom left of the picture? That's the hot wire for the braking signal to the inner brake light; the green wire in the middle of the picture (between the brown and black wires) actually has a thin red line on it, and that's the hot wire for the blink signal for the outer bulb.
You cut the power coming from the brake only wire (red with thin green stripe) going to the inner bulb, and then splice into the power wire with the blinking signal (green with thin red stripe leading to the outer bulb); now both bulbs will be powered by the green with thin red stripe lead and both will blink when you turn on the blinkers.

This isn't gonna give me a lamp out light, correct? I'm quite sick of my dash blinking at me lol. After my airbags deployed when I splintered a utility pole in December, I was getting a constant code from the idiot light. It got very annoying, very quickly, so I took out the bulb. Little did I know that would cause 5 or so sets of 5 obnoxious beeps to come from the computer area every time I start the car. Also happens again after it's been running for a while. That's much better than a constant distraction though. :angelnot:
