this is my 93 3.2 mtx. my 0-60 at wot is around 9 secs. it bogs down low and doesn't like 7k rpm much anymore. BUT! if i ease on the throttle and feather it towards the upper rpms it pulls allot faster and rolls right up to 7k. its like it has a sweet spot or something.
i had 2 extra old tps's. one made it worse the other was better over all. helped but didn't fix it.
i though i had clogged cats. so i gutted them <_< >_>. the rear bank was melted. i got some power back but its still SLOW. my cps is old and my crankps is old. i reused them in the swap. same with the rest of the censers. my plug wires were reused.

thats all the info i can really give. oh! one of my cam chain tensioners is bad but i dont think thats related. anyway i dont know what else to say. other than its slower than my 90. i can take a video if you guys think that will help.

thanks for all the help in advance.

Timing? That's a weird problem. I guess try and get a good TPS on there, maybe swap in a better PCM.

Crank sensors don't give you performance issues when they go bad, they just don't let your car run at all.

This might be a weird question, but would there be a way for the throttle plate to open more than WOT? As in go past WOT, thus closing the opening a bit and maybe the TPS registers it as closing. Not sure if that makes sense but that could be a problem.

Anyways, try a good TPS. If that doesn't work, then start replacing any other likely culprits (starting with the cheapest stuff).

i checked the throttle its good. opens all the way and not any further.

i'll take the tps off my 90 and see if that helps.

try new plug wires, maybe when you suddenly stomp it, its having a hard time burning the fuel.

i have an extra set so i think i'll try that first. i also have spare coil packs so i'll try that too.
