Wondering what it all takes to make a SHO E85 compatible with nothing done to it before

The fuel system is compatible with ethanol, if that's the question. If you want to actually run E85 (or even E30), you'll need a bigger HPFP, injectors (although stock injectors will push E30), and a tune. But running either fuel without other mods (intercooler, exhaust) is a waste of effort IMHO.Wondering what it all takes to make a SHO E85 compatible with nothing done to it before
If you're looking to run E85 in your SHO, we offer a kit that allows you to do just that. Our kit is an upgraded HPFP, low side fuel pump, injectors, and a tune. We also have a multi-tune feature available for the 2013+ SHO's which will allow you to run 93, E85, or a mix with the supporting mods which will also give you the ability to switch the tunes on the fly, adjust the ethanol content, and gives you launch control. If you have any questions, please reach out to us!
Why's that? We recently did a SHO with the kit that I previously mentioned and the customer loves the way it drove all the way down to Florida.I’ll pass on anything that includes a LMS tune

Almost everything you sell is either A)Trash with no customer service to back it up or B)Someone else's rebranded product. The main items we use is our 1750cc injectors, an E85 rated pump, Boost a Pump, and our severe firestorm HPFP along with the tune. With the E85 fuel system along with the T410 package, the SHO we did that build on put down around 460-470whp on the dyno. I will let the team that handles the website know about the errors on the website and have them fix it. The shift on the fly along with the adjustable ethanol content is through our tuning software that doesn't require a sensor. You adjust both of those with the engine off and ignition on. It's all controlled through the steering wheel controls and the RPM gauge is where you select the tune you want to run and the speedometer is where you choose the ethanol content. Most pump E85 tests at 77% and most pump gas is around 15%. The launch control feature that we have is a 2-step system and not a trans brake requiring you to still hold the brakes to engage the launch control. Here is the YouTube video on the most recent SHO that we did that build on:Almost everything you sell is either A)Trash with no customer service to back it up or B)Someone else's rebranded product. HPFP - You offer 2 models, the regular and the severe. The regular page is filled with errors and if you can't do a web page/ad why would I expect anything more from a tune. Let's start with the fact that, it is MotorspORts not MotorspROts. Not like it is you brand name or in every automated spell check. Pet peeve, it is EcoBoost not Ecoboost. Depends on which page you are looking at on how you decide to spell it. Why did you take the time to develop the regular in 2018 if you had made the severe in 2017 or is that an error? When discussing the kit contents, there is a random "i" in there for some reason. Why are the graphs for the normal and the severe the EXACT same images? If the normal is 40% more fuel and the severe is 60% more fuel, why do they both put out ~260LPH? Why is your HPEP (oops another error, that should be HPFP) Actual Flow a perfectly smooth line with a plateau across the top (like it ran out of ability to flow any more) and yet the Optimal Flow looks like it was drawn by Michael J. Fox? Also strange how they are called flow. It says it is graphing fuel rail pressure which is not flow. Two very different concepts. Not only are the images the exact same (part and graphs), the desription is almost the exact same. The year was changed, the 2017 Severe says new high pressure pump while the 2018 omits the word new. The random "i" in the normal goes away. The Severe mentions the included fuel line. The normal says 40% and the Severe says 60%. Other then that, it is a cut/paste job.
Injectors - Couldn't convince them to leave their logo off or put your logo on eh? Guess that is the way it goes sometimes. On to the specs. 1750 cc flow able to operate at up to 240 bar/3500 #. An XDi-60 (I assume close to your Severe that claims 60% increase) operates at 260 bar/3800 psi. So A) you must be operating at less but delivery the same and B) anyone with a XDi 60 should not be using your injectors. The XDi EVO runs at 240 bar/3500 psi, so that is running the injectors at their maximum. Pretty much leaves people with the XDi 35 if they want to use your injectors (which is probably similar to your normal with a 40% increase in fuel).
LPFP - There is a picture of a fuel pump assembly in the fuel pump category icon. That is about all I can say because there are no low pressure pumps listed for our application.
Tune - BOOM! Seems like that is all we ever see or hear about. The shift on the fly is either misspoken or an industry first for the EcoBoost. Please post a video with the vehicle shifting tunes on the fly. The comment of being able to adjust the ethanol content and run mixes also sounds like you are using some kind of sensor that is not mentined.
Please post a link to the kit with full details.
Your saying there is a difference between the Corsa cat-back and yours besides the logo stamped in the tip? The one that comes with Corsa instructions and a Corsa rebate? What is the difference on your cold air intake from the Airaid intake other than the sticker? The main items we use is our 1750cc injectors, an E85 rated pump, Boost a Pump, and our severe firestorm HPFP along with the tune. To answer your statement on no customer service to back the items up, we got a couple new salespeople a few months ago to help answer phones and internet questions as it was only a couple people before. Our products that are rebranded are products that are made specifically for us. For example, our LS cams are a custom grind from Comp Cams that are made specifically for us. That is the same with our cold air kits, exhaust, and injectors. If you have any other questions please let me know.
We replace the low side fuel pump with an upgraded pump that's rated for E85 with the boost a pump. It is the 440 package, I apologize on that. You can't turn a **** at a stop light or driving on most gas motors with the way the tunes are set, unlike the diesel tunes where it's added fuel and boost. Corsa did make our SHO exhausts and the Explorer Sport exhausts. Our F150 Exhausts are our own custom exhausts though.Your saying there is a difference between the Corsa cat-back and yours besides the logo stamped in the tip? So the tune is remapping like any other. It is not true shift on the fly. I cannot turn a dial at the stop light or as I am driving (on the fly).
There is no low side fuel pump then, it is a boost a pump. You are pushing a stock pump with extra voltage/amperage.
T410 or T440? Looks like the 440 is the lowest package for the Taurus.
So the car in the video has the E85 "kit" (Boost a Pump, HPFP, Injectors) you are talking about, exhaust, race intercooler, and the T440 package. How much is that parts only and how much is it installed? We replace the low side fuel pump with an upgraded pump that's rated for E85 with the boost a pump. I am guessing you will need to use a tester and a calculator like the ones on Wallace Racing. Then once you know the content of what you are putting in the vehicle, set it each time. I am curious how they are putting enough mapping in to compensate from E10 to E85 on 1 programmer. Generally, I have seen that you can ask for a map for E30 and you can stray a little bit but, I have not seen E10-E85 capability.Interesting how you folks are adjusting the ethanol using a programming sequence in cruise control mode.
My biggest concern is the lack of ethanol consistency across the country. Many of us here can get varying levels of ethanol in the blended gas. The concern then is the adjustments for those discrepancies. What has been the findings in regards to this issue? @Livernois Motorsports
It has the street intercooler on it instead of the race intercooler. Please send me an email at [email protected] and I will get you a estimate for parts only shipped to your door along with an install quote. So the car in the video has the E85 "kit" (Boost a Pump, HPFP, Injectors) you are talking about, exhaust, race intercooler, and the T440 package. You can adjust the ethanol content right from the cruise control settings to adjust the system to be happy with the ethanol content gas you are able to get. We usually set them around 77% which is what pump E85 comes out to.Interesting how you folks are adjusting the ethanol using a programming sequence in cruise control mode.
