I sent this email out via the v8sho email list, and thought some of you might like to hear my impressions of driving with the Roush springs:
When I first picked up my car, I drove it about 2 miles. Went and picked up
some dry cleaning. I pulled the SARC fuse at that time. Wow, it really felt
great. Steering response was more immediate. Seemed to ride only very
slightly firmer than with the stock springs. (Funny story, I almost fell out
of my car when I went to the dry cleaners. The 2" or so drop really makes
you pick your foot up higher when exiting the car!!)
When I put the SARC fuse back in, the car actually seemed to ride a little
smoother than with the stock springs. It definitely has less of a "floaty"
feeling that the stock setup has. Obviously that's due to the fact that the
Roush springs have less amount of travel than the stock ones.
I would say that overall the Roush springs improved the car's ride in many
ways. Less bouncy, less floaty, less body roll. Even when I had my 17"
wheels/tires on they still rode very comfortably with the SARC on.
