This is the official GB for SHOspeed Enterprises 2.5" downpipes. These will be two-piece aluminuzed steel, with a V-band connecting them. As with the original hotpipes GB, these are NOT plug and play. Since every turbo system is a custom unit, trying to make a one size fits all is not possible. These DP's will simply run long at the 'catback' junction, and at the turbo outlet junction. It will be up to the end user to make this pipe fit their specific setup. The V-band connection will be located about midpoint, so there will be some adjustment allowed but clocking the pipes. It is highly recommended that you get these pipes ceramic coated, as they will pass by sensitive wires/hoses. (these are MTX ONLY compatible) Also, you must wrap them with some turbo/header wrap. The turbo/header wrap needs to be replaced (dependent on your driving conditions) routinely so as not to erode your ceramic coating.

I was debating about including a welded in 02 bung, but have decided against it. Since every setup is custom, I did not want my placement to cause problems, so I suggest you get the pipe fitted and 'clocked' the way you need, then have whoever is welding your turbo outlet ****** to also weld up your 02 bung (they are cheap, about $6 for a bung and a plug)(also, recommended placement is around 12-14" past turbo outlet)

For those of you needing a larger downpipe (the 2.5" will support 400whp with no problems, and depending on the rest of your setup, will likely not be a restriction until you are well over 450whp), contact me via PM.

There is no minumum, so if you want one, I will make you one. If you do not have my original hotpipes, and your turbo placement differs much from mine (there are plenty of pics available, they will not be posted here), please note that this downpipe may not work well for you, and may need quite a bit of customizing to fit your setup.

If you live in the continental US, price will be $175 shipped.

I will probably not be offering ceramic coating. A new hotpipe (three piece - y-pipe, uppipe and downpipe) GB will likely happen this fall.

so we either have the options to:
1. buy the downpipes now
2. wait till the fall to buy the whole 9 yardsm y-pipe, uppipe and downpipe. Right?

may sound I don't know what I am talking about but are these the same as headers? I got a set from Matt when he was at ShoBros and they had a heafty price. Did I make the right buy?

Nope, they are different. These are for a turbo setup.

I'm here too, but before committing, I need to see just how much money I have left after the convention. Fortunately, living like a bum at the con may have saved me quite a bit.
