Well 3 months, or more, ago I gave my neighbor my manifold and valve covers. I am deploying in less than a week and decided that I really need this stuff back. I gave them to him to give to friend to be PC'd. Well, I went down to the shop today where Chad works (the guy who did the job) and he says to me, "oh, uh you must be Ken's neighbor....I've never seen the stuff, never heard of it. There was supposed to be something done but I never got the parts." Now, the next part is what really creams my corn, he lied right to my face. "I was told what color to coat them and finished it but I never saw the parts." Those where the Chad guys EXACT words. He straight up lied to me, to my face. He tells me good luck on getting the parts and getting a hold of my neighbor....The boss had this WTF look on his face and I came away with nothing. My neighbor has been having trouble with the guy who has done the job because he keeps dissapearing every time this subject comes up.
Should I get the police involved in it to retrieve these things if no one is going to be honest with me?
