Funny, after this was brought up on the forum last time (when he got bent out of shape because we were "shit-talking"), he told me that he had the money and just hadn't found time to run it up to you yet... That was a month ago, which was about a month after he sold the car, so he's had your money for 2 months. Hmm...

I feel your pain. I had a similar experience with an individual named "ryan" as well. He blew his diff and needed it fixed asap. This was his only mide of transportation to and from work. I fixed his car, got paid 1/2 of what he owed me, and he disappeared!

Yep. We exchanged a few *** too. His excuse back then was that his Element was dead and the Maxima was unregistered, so that's why he never made it up to Matt's house with the money. Obviously the Maxima is on the road now...

Oh, and he also said he's "not one to screw people," so he must be good for it, right? :laugh_ti:

I've also seen how tough it is to get money outta Ryan. I sold my old front seats to his buddy through him. He was just a middle man. His friend was supposed to give him $50, which he would then give to me. Simple, right? It took weeks to get the money, and he gave me the runaround with stories that didn't add up. First, he said he had the money. Then he said his friend gave him a check and he was still waiting for it to clear in his account. Then he was still waiting for his friend to give him the money.... lots of BS, about a month's worth before I was finally paid.

I'll make it easy for him. I will be in RI late Friday night. I will go to him, pick up said money, and bring it with me to Matts house Saturday. I won't even charge him gas money.
