Doesnt run like it used to(I think)

First post on here, but anyways my 92 MTX doesnt seem to have the power that it used to have. I have noticed two things, when accelerating from a stop, it will bog down a bit in first but then pick right back up; and it doesnt chirp second gear like it used to do when I first got it. Unfortunately the track here in Hawaii is now closed so I can not compare slips or anything. I just wanted some opinions cause I used to love how it was a sleeper. Is there anything I need to check besides the usual tune up stuff like spark plugs etc.? It is stock except for a SS cold air intake. Thanks

Look if you have codes first , even if cel never lit. http://www.shophoenixproject.com/eec/eec.htm

Can also check for oil in the plug wells , wires-plugs-crank sensor etc...

Most of the times , codes will tell ya.

depending on how old your o2 sensors are changing them can make a world of a difference, and help gas mailage too

Do you still have the stock Y pipe? You could have clogged cats.
