This was in the trunk of my 95 MTX when I bought it. Any idea if it's even for this car? Just wondering if I should keep it or chuck it...

not really a y-pipe at all. looks like some type of a custom cat-back. the flex pipe would probably bolt to the y-pipe, and then some kind of exhaust off of that.

looks to be one of those that you put a cover over and have it go through the mufflers but also can take the cover off and have a open exhaust
