Heavy plume of smoke when the engine warms up (cat gets hot). Engine runs smooth. Plugs are not fouled at all.
Checked front and rear exhaust manifolds. At the joint where they meet the cats, the rear one is nice and dry. Front one wet and oily at the joint.
Took a closer look at the front exhaust manifold. Under the right most cylinder (looking from the front of the car) I believe #6, oil seeps from the upper ****** of the exhaust manifold only in that spot. The other two cylinders are dry.
Diagnosis. Possible bad valve seal in one or both of the exhaust valves in that cylinder. Oil not getting really mixed up with fuel mixture, but rather going out thru the exhaust and burning up at the cat. This could be the reason why engine runs smooth and no plug foul up.
Appreciate any concurring and specially disagreeing theories. Thanks
