2015 SHO 113k mi. The car is making a loud squeaking whenever the wheels are turned. The squeak is dependent on how fast the wheels are turned, and it seems to be an equal sound turning left or right. I can lift the car and turn the wheels by hand and it will make the same noise. The sound is about the same on both sides of the vehicle, and it does sound like it’s coming from the R&P. There isn’t any grinding noises and the wheel doesn’t feel hard to turn. Any suggestions on what could be starting to fail? Thanks!

My thought would be ball joints or CV shafts. It's a little strange that it's on both sides though. Since these vehicles have electric power steering built into the rack and pinion it makes them very expensive, so start looking from the outside and work your way in.

I think I actually found the answer. I sprayed steering shaft firewall gasket and the steering shaft rack gasket with WD40 and let it sit overnight. Been quiet ever since.
