I've been invited Feb 15-17 to a TXPOC meet(texas probe owner club) and was wondering if anybody else wanted to go, they are planning on some dyno time, and talk was 50 bucks for 3 pulls. Also the 1/4 mile track at ennis is also being planned. I haven't gotten all the details yet, but just checking to see if anyone was interested. I believe Laurence is also going along.

It should be fun! Most of the Probe guys that I have met seem to be genuinely good people, albeit young people.

50 bucks for 3 dyno pulls is excellent!

I'd also like to see how the ol' girl spins the dyno....

I meant my car. After reading it, I realized that statement could be interpreted differently.

1)What dyno are you going to?

2)Do you Dallas folks know of any great Dyno Tuners in your area?

Fastech in Garland is pretty much the 'source' for Dyno's in Dallas. They do all the monster HP cars. I don't have a phone number handy, but they are off of Jupiter Rd. in Garland.

Martin,
Do they know that we are planning to crash their little party? Maybe you could get with the head of their club to hammer out some solid plans...

PROBE & SHO MEET

I went to the website and got a little more info. So far the plans are as follows for Feb 15-17.

Friday Feb 15th
5:00pm - Meet at unannounced restaurant in DFW area.
6:00pm+ - Head to Ennis for Street Nights

Saturday Feb 16th
1:00pm Meet at Intercrew for Dyno Day. $50 - 3 runs (5 people required) $40 - 3 runs (15 people required) So we REALLY need a turnout on this one. (this may not be right, because usually Dyno Days start at 9am or 10am, but we'll see...plan on 1pm)

---(starting mid March, Mineral Wells will be having Autocrosses again with the BMW & Prelude Groups. ($25 - 8 runs - VERY fast course, longest autocross course in the country supposedly) Anyone is welcome, so the SHO group is about to start going to this as well. I will be starting a Dallas SHO Club soon because I have yet to hear about one. All interested, contact me via email: [email protected])

TBA - They're planning on possibly meeting up afterwords for food and hangin' out at someone's house or something...not sure.

Sunday Feb 17th
TBA - They don't quite have plans yet from what I could tell.

Hope this helps.

Great! Now I have an itinerary!! I'll probably be in town earlier to tighten up the sho a bit before then. Probably Wed prior to switch intakes and such, pending Scott's approval!

I'm DEFINTELY interested in going, but I'll have to clear my schedule. I'd say I'm probably the only one with the closest-to-stock SHO on the forums, so at least we'll have a baseline to compare you other guys with. LOL
