Hi to the DFW LSSHOC members and those that might be willing to travel for a good car show and free steak dinner,

My church, Northwest Bible Church (NBC), is having its 6th annual Men's Steak Out and Motor Show on Wednesday, August 27 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. NBC is located at the northwest corner of Northwest Highway and the Dallas Tollway. The show is a gathering of car and motorcycle owners and those that appreciate the many vehicles that are displayed and those that enjoy a good free steak.

Last year, my SHO was the only modern, domestic, four door in the show. I ended up receiving many "crowd favorite" votes from young and old alike that were surprised by the beautiful engine in a car they only thought they knew. I plan to be there again this year and I hope that some of you will share the audience and the huge steaks and excellent fixin's.

Visit their web site here (or here: www.nbctexas.org/men) and select the Register link to access the on-line registration form or the link to view images from last year's show.

I will send out another reminder before the August 20 entry deadline (Aug. 20 is the last date to be included in the program). Please let me know when you have registered so we can make plans to meet before the show and group the cars together.

Hope to see you there

Ya the freak looks SWEET
Wait till the sagonwagon
He does some very sweet powdercoating, and it really makes his rides stand out.

Steak sounds good, we could make the drive up from Austin, only 4 more days in DFW. good or bad? Hopefully we can have a few more modern D.s there. Thanx for the info Scott, Craig
Oh yeah, ThunderSHO definetly has earned its name right now. hail hail Tony

I can make that one Scott. You'll have to post it up close to that date so I won't forget.

Thanks for the invite! :)

I had a great time last year. The crowd favorite last year was a just completed 427 Cobra replica with a built 351C engine. There were cars from a Porsche Speedster to a Porsche 911. Among all of the wild customs and high dollar rides, the SHO had more than its share of long stares and questions. It was really a nice surprise. I can only imagine the gawking facial expressions the supercharged SHOs would get. Here are a few shots I took last year.

I'm bringing this topic back up because the time is growing near for the consumption of free 16 oz. steaks and to share in the world of cool cars. See the links in my first post in this thread for the simple on-line registration. Enter information for your car that will be entered into the car show's program. You really don't want to miss this one.

Free steak anyone? Anyone?
Everytime I see this topic I think of steak. :( I want my free steak!!

I hope you guys have a great time this year. I'm sure you will, but it can't hurt to say sappy stuff like, "may the coals be hot and beef nice and tender". Ok, now I'm getting hungry... :)

Last year, Kobe Steakhouse trailered in their large rolling grill to cook up the steaks. These steaks were flame grilled to "melt in your mouth" tastiness that gave you little pause when wolfing down all 16 ounces of beef. The steaks were so good, and the crowd so large, that Kobe had to bring in additional supplies of beef to feed the hungry masses.

Combining the sights and smells of all those well cared for cars with those of the cookout, gave that campus a serious testosterone overflow. Even the women were making "arr arr" sounds. Please try to make the event if you are able.
