Whats up guys. On my 95 SHO ATX, that I bought about two months ago. For the heck of it I hooked up my scanner, even though my check engine light isnt on. I had two codes in the system. 212 No Tach Input to Processor, and 214 (cylinder ID)-when I looked this one up I found it means (CID circuit failure). what the heck is this? My check engine light is not on. and except for my leaky rack and pinon everything seems fine. but the codes are current not stored. any help would be great. thanks

Seems to be a Cam or crank sensor code.

Any trouble starting it? any misfires?

Unplug the negative battery cable and allow the computer to reset.

Drive it around for a couple of days and check the codes again.

*EDIT* and you've never once had any issues starting it?
