I have a 95 moonlight blue MTX with 89K on it.I did some custom work inside. To start off I took the factory radio and cd player out the put a 7 in widescreen monitor (not the flipout radio kind) panisonic vm1500. I put two 5 inch monitors in the headrests and PS2 in the glovebox. Then I used a paddle extender to extend the receiver for cordless DVD remote to where the clock use to be. I ran the controler into my center compartment. I took the faceplate of my pioneer cd player and mounted it the rearveiw mirror (its pretty hot) I had to move the cig lighter and cut the pocket out and make a custom plate for the under the spot where the old radio and cd player was.It looks amazing. I also install a big blue push buttom start to the right of the climate controls. I have blue neons under the dash, under the back seat, under the rear speaker grills, and one up by the moonroof (thats the only bulb U can see). I did the whole trunk over in white vinyl and I built a custom ported box with 1 12" audiobahn 2000 watt sub and I have a D2 earthquake shredder amp,and a audiobahn bass controller,an extra battery and 1.5 farad massive cap. MB quarts in the doors powered by a 140 watt by 2 pioneer amp. It sounds great.

I used to have the kicker L7's nice choice and a ZR 1000 also a good choice. Just tell me do you have dual 4 ohm or dual 2 ohm voice coils? It will make a difference in the power U get from the ZR1000. I hit 146.2 with the 12 inch audiobahn. There are other ways to get more power out of those amp and those speakers can handle everything you get give as long as it's clean clear power. Also was wondering where u got the box and does it have L ports or are they straight or hopefully not round. L ports are the best. Also by increasing the voltage going into the amp from the head unit will increase the power and clarity coming out. Just trying to help! What do you mean by run it under the car.You can run the power wire inside but it takes time and its a pain but I would insist that u do it to avoid problems if thats what u were talking about.Trust me I've got 9 years exp. and I'm only trying to help!

Box was made by me, a fiber glass molded box ported, This was a large box becuase the specs for the ported box are larger then most becuze of the design but you should know that. Thy are great if you want an inclosed box save some room there! but iwas look for more SOund so i went with a Fiber glass moled box ,......
took out the spare tire in my 1989 Cougar XR7 Supercharged, and used that "area' for what i need.the two ports were coming out from the bottom right were the spare tire was at before hand the two subs were poitioned at a 45% angle to the trunk "faceing you if you oepned the Trunk". This was a pain in the as* to do but it took around 4oo bucks and 3 weeks of my time but i did it. the only bad thing about the box is i cant use it for my SHO! now that i sold my XR7 "Stupid"! and have my sho i need a box still and a new cd changer before installing again. also my sub one of them is blown i think not sure thu.makes a cracking sound when bass hits at higher levels.Subs are 4ohm.Its giong to cost around 500 bucks just to get my stero going again i need some help guys!Where can i get a good box for my SHO thats ported and is for the L7. Also lookin for a use cd player that does not skip at high bass levels HA had a pro aduio and it skiped if you would play Yanee! it was such a bi#@ to have that happen rollen down the steet and my sh@t would cut off! hail So any ideas with this stero system that needs to be in the sho but needs som T L C First before intalling.

I saw the faceplate on the rearview thing before. It looks pretty cool. I'm currently working on a remote mount for the EATC, I'll take pictures tomorrow while I'm working on it. I'm trying to put ONLY the display module in the rollup compartment under the stock ash tray/cig lighter spot. I haven't figured out what I'm going to do for buttons, but right now it looks like I'm just gonna move the stock switches to a piece of PCB in the armrest for now. If anybody has suggestions, please send 'em to me!

I actually saw the car it is pretty slick. Next time i'm hanging out with him or his buddy i'll try to remember my digital camera to take some pictures. Once he has his leather interior redone the car will look immaculate.

And quite slow too, due to the extra weight of the electronics in it. You guys act like there's never been monitors in the headrests of a car before. Anything like that can be done for the right price.

The only thing I'm interested in seeing is the EATC in the rearview. I'm curious as to how that functions as both.
