big ole bottles of it, too! :)

About oxygen being an oxidizer... that's still a chance i'm not bargainin' with! :D

Wanna have some fun. Buy a large bottle and lay it down remove the cover and knock the valve off with a sledge hammer. And look out. That 2200+ psi exiting a small hole. It makes a nice rocket. lol

i really dont know what is so bad about the pure oxygen idea... im not just saying dump it into the cylinders like a port nitrous system, have it leak into the system like a dry system would.... no? and yeah oxygen wouldnt burt by itself.... otherwise fires would be everywhere for no reason (well minus the pyros) we live off of oxygen people!!

Just don’t get rear ended with a 02 bottle in your trunk. Gas fumes from tank, oxygen leaking from compressed bottle, and static electricity...kiss whatever block you’re on good by.

Pure oxygen by itself is unstable. Yes we live off of oxygen, but the air we breath actually has very little oxygen in it, only about 20%. Since its mixed with other gases in the air, that is why there aren't spontaneous fires everywhere. If you were put in a room with only pure oxygen and nothing else, you'd die. Even people that are hooked up to oxygen tanks because they have heart or lung problems are not breatheing pure oxygen. Heres an interesting link, check the video. link

Isnt toolman, or someone with boost using co2 to cool his intercooler?
What id like to see is someone running a bunch of boost, using co2 and a small shot of n2o to cool things down :D. maybe i just think that dual bottles in the trunk would be way sweet.

Pure Oxygen is easy to get. You just go to a local welding supply store and buy a bottle.
Nope, it's not pure oxygen. It's mixed with various other gases for different kinds of welding and for torching different materials. Pure oxygen is not stable enough for most applications, especially not for sale to the general public. You can get on the Linweld site and check out the MSDS sheets for oxygen. No you can not light oxygen on fire. Freeze, do you have more info on the system Toolmans using?

I like this idea, I spent a good hour going over everything in their website. For $550 you can get the basic cryo kit and a cheetah jet. I would like to hear from some SHO owners about what this gained them and what their setups were. Even though spraying CO2 at your opponent's car seems pretty lousy, its a cool idea... and might be allot of fun at stoplights with pedestrians nearby :snicker:
