A couple months back my master cylinder leaked a lil brake fluid into the cruise controll connector on the bottom of it. I unplugged it and cleanded it. Replaced the fuse and reconnected it when the connector that looks like here starts smokin' where it plugs into a small metal box. I unplugged it as quick as I could but the 2 terminals for the cruise were melted. I don't know if they still work cause I haven't plugged the cruise in since but don't wanna use it like that even if it does. I grabbed the connector off a Taurus at the junk yard but the wires are in diff places. Will the connector off of a '91 MTX be the same and have the wires in the same place as my '94 ATX?

No, the 94 and 95 ATX use a completely different cruise system than do all the others.
