Well when I go over bumps I can hear a crackling coming from my rear speakers. Would this just be a loose connection somewhere or are we talking a blown speaker? I still have the factory JBL setup in the rear on my 94. Thanks.

bad amplifier in trunk....
If it was the amplifier would it not affect all of my speakers...just not the rear? I have not had a chance to get in the trunk and start playing with wires yet though.

it's probably a bad connection...i had this problem right after I installed my components, and then I inspected both connections in the rear and one was loose. Tightend it on up,and it is great...may also be wires touching...

There IS a bad connection somewhere. It might be wiring, the head unit, or the amp.

Wiggle the wires, tap on the amp and the head unit.

Once you find what is sensitive to the mechanical shock, you will know what needs fixing.
