My paint's in rotten shape and I can't afford to get it painted by somebody else. I don't have shop air but I *do* have CO2. I'm wondering how feasible it would be to repaint my SHO one body panel at a time with an airbrush. I'm thinking I could prep a panel every Saturday and paint it on Sunday. I could even breath out of my scuba cylinder to protect my lungs and one of my HEPA filters in the garage to keep the room dust free while I paint.

Would this work or is it just crazy? I got lots of time on my hands right now but not much $$$.

I wouldn't do it but you have the time and the patience why not? How much worse could the paint look? If you mess up too bad just airbrush it paisley. :D

well i have an aircompressor and a spray gun and i was thinking about doing the same thing, just pulling off a panel at a a time and doing it, the only problem would be painting the acutally body, and make sure you get good grade automotive paint.
