For some reason, My coolant level has been going done at a somewhat substancial rate. BUT, my engine warms up unusually fast. No leaking, no overheating. And since the problem started, I've noticed, I hear a stange whirring sound. Sounds to me like a crappy turbo or a NA civic. LoL. Any idea? All I can come up with is a lose hose somewhere. (Recently did my front motor mount, hose may not be on good), and locked t-stat or clogged housing. Any other ideas?

For the turbo-like sound, check to see if it is coming from the PS pump or one of the idler pulley bearings.

A stethoscope will help you pinpoint the source.

For the coolant leak, go to AutoZone and get the cooling system pressure test and test the system. A deposit of around $90 is required that will be refunded when the tester is returned.

Sounds like you waterpump my be going out. Most likely the bearings are gone and its also leaking at the weap hole it is very hard to see it there. Your going to need a mirror or to get under the car and look up under the pump to see the weep hole. As Steve said get the pressure tester to be sure.
