BAD ROLE MODEL
so, took my car to Firebird tonight... went to watch the races, ran it once just babying the car.
on my way home, got on the freeway and gave it what for on the on ramp in second, the clutch started slipping really really bad.
my estimation of the way the car drives now and the smell of freshly toasted clutch is i pulled a bonehead move and got pwned for it.
any ideas for a shop to take it to? i'm gonna have to bend over and pay to get it fixed in a shop because i dont have a driveway, or the engine support, or the friends with either to do it myself. i'm pretty sure i'm gonna be paying at least 6 hours of labor for it, but dont want to take it to a shop that isn't gonna do a good job.
