Clutch cable

Is there any other way to tighten the clutch cable other than the automatic tensioner, like a barrel nut of some kind?

nope. your only tightening device is the tensioner on the pedal

You having trouble with the clutch fully disengaging thus making gear shifting difficult?

I had this for a long time and always had to resort to pre-tensioning the clutch cable with the automatic adjuster.

Yeah, I pull back on the clutch, with the car running, and it doesnt seem to help at all. how long should i hold it back. I'm thinking the cable may be stretched too far.
