cleaning SHOSHOP intake cone filter????

I have the shoshop intake on my 99 SHO and was wondering how often I should clean the air filter. How do I go about cleaning it? I didnt get any kind of cleaning kit with the setup.

It can be cleaned with a K&N filter cleaning kit.

Try www.dccarcare.com Don Mallinson is a great guy and has the cleaning kit for about $15 if I remember right.

Once a year should do it....if even that. They say you can go 50,000 miles without cleaning it. Believe it or not the dirtier is is...the better its working.

Thanks. Thats good that you dont have to worry about cleaning it to often. I was getting worried cause mine was looking quite dirty.
